Then join the mob in a soulless pointless job

Slave away every single day
Spend all your cash on the latest shiny trash
Worship T.V. and inane celebrity
Buy into the fraud of some fictitious random god

Become a devotee
To the pathocracy

Find a mate – conjugate
Get a dog – pop out a sprog
Buy a home for the bank to own
And don’t forget to rack up loads of debt

A slave mentality
Pursuit in futility

Now it seems that your hopes and dreams
Won’t be achieved like you once believed
You’re getting older and your belly’s growing larger
So now you might just have a midlife crisis

Work and scrimp and save and skimp for a holiday
Work all year so you may have a chance to get away
